happy day!

this has been the most perfect day ever! :)

jojie and i woke up at 10:00 a.m. i was a bit anoyed with him when i remembered that i went to bed before he did and that he did not kiss me good night (he promised me a couple of weeks ago that he would kiss me good night every day even if we're in the middle of a fight). anyway, when i woke up i remembered that so i did not kiss him good morning (hahaha! sobrang petty no?).

i actually did not want to get up yet but my mom was so makulit and called me several times to ask about her dissertation proposal. okay lang naman. tawang-tawa siya sa akin na tulog pa ako. sabi niya gumising na raw ako. sabi ko "ma, alas tres na ako natulog!" grrr talaga! at ang funny dun, she was calling our landline but because we were sleeping pa, hindi namin sinasagot syempre. so ang mommy ko na hindi marunong mag-give up, tinawagan ako sa cellphone. at tuloy tuloy nang nagkwento. she forgot na na sa cellphone pala siya at ang tagal na naming nagdadaldalan! hahaha!

anyway, after talking to mama, i decided to get up (that was around 10) to make lunch. i would normally prepare brunch pero mukhang walang sense na magkunyari pa akong pwede pang humabol ng breakfast yung food na maluluto ko so straight to lunch na.

while preparing the food, i told jojie that i was tampo because he didn't kiss me good night and he made me suyo and lambing to make up for it. :p

i made spaghetti, tossed salad, and garlic bread. super yummy! kakatawa ang asawa ko kasi napaka-pinoy kumain ng spaghetti, naghanap ba naman ng hotdog! hahaha! sabi ko sa kanya, "hon, hindi ka na 7 years old ha, wala ng hotdog ang spaghetti." :) jojie kasi does not like the italian (read: maasim) spaghetti so i learned not to use italian sauces and herbs when i make spaghetti. for some reason ang sarap lumabas ng sauce na nagawa ko (hehehe! at syempre wala naman kayong basis para hindi maniwala di ba?)

funny pa jan, all the major ingredients i used for the spaghetti (the pasta, the sauces, etc.) were fromt the free package we got when we bought our refrigerator. so in a way, libre pala yung lunch namin kanina. :)

for the salad, i just combined green lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, pineapple tidbits, and cheese. i normally use cream cheese kaya lang ang mahal na ng cream cheese ngayon (whereas P86 lang siya a month ago, P115 na ngayon ang philadelphia cream cheese sa cherry foodarama at P124 sa sm super sale) kaya nanghinayang akong buksan yung cream cheese at nag-grate na lang ako ng cheddar (daw) cheese. isa pa, when i open the package i have to make sure na ma-consume namin within 10 days and i'm not yet sure of our schedule next week (aysus! nag-rationalize pa ako, talagang kuripot lang ako! haha!).

for the garlic bread, i just toasted white bread and put butter and minced garlic on it. instant yummy garlic bread na yun.

jojie loved our lunch. sabi niya sarap daw food namin palagi! kakatuwa to hear that.

we cleaned up after lunch and made sure na ayos na yung kitchen before we... you guessed right... slept again. hahaha! wala kaming ginawa kung hindi matulog. before sleeping though, naglambingan lang kami. we cuddles and he made me feel so loved and beautiful. *giddy sigh*

we woke up at 5:15... actually i woke up at 5:15, he woke up at 5:45. hehehe! again, i didn't want to get up yet but someone woke me up again! you're right, nanay ko uli! tinawagan naman ako para makipag-kwentuhan. sabi ng mom ko, "anak, tulog kayo ng tulog!" hahaha!

i made dinner after talking to my mom (deja vu!). this time naman i prepared tuna sandwich... grilled white bread, iceberg lettuce, cucumber, and cheese. sayang nga wala akong apple eh (have you tried tuna-apple sandwich? ang yummy nun promise!). as a side dish naman i made french fries. so the sandwich plus the fried plus the tirang spaghetti from lunch, super yummy na ng dinner!

we cleaned up again after dinner (the good thing with jojie is that he really helps in the household chores esp in cleaning) then made lambingan again (teka, before you think of kinky stuff, lambingan talaga is cuddling and making lambing like declaring one's self as the luckiest person for having the other, etc.).

we decided not to go to a coffee shop. we wanted to stay home for a change and since we have a stock of monet's breadsticks anyway (hi monet!), okay na kasi we had easy to prepare snacks na. pero syempre hind kami nakuntento dun and we went to red ribbon to buy choco mocha crunch.

we arrived from red ribbon just before 9. syempre we watched tv muna. we watched CSI NY. it's good. it has the same scientific hoola as the miami and LV version but it's much more ma-drama.

anyway, after CSI NY, we brewed coffee na and started working (and eating the cake, of course).

i just feel so thankful today. really happy day!
