updates uli

i was thinking if i needed to write another update. honestly, i didn't want to and i wanted to write na lang in my blogs (hehe!) but since i'm kinda starting to panic (konti lang naman), i thought it would be good to see where i am now in our preps. so sa madaling sabi, update na naman ito uli, and a really detailed update at that. :)

CHURCH: Our Lady of Consolation Parish

Reservation fee - paid
Balance - to be paid December 4

Requirements / To Do's:
1. Pre-Cana - exempted because we attended Discovery Weekend na
2. Baptismal Certificate - have it but haven't passed it
3. Confirmation Certificate - have it but haven't passed it
4. List of names and addresses of sponsors - submitted the names but not the addresses
5. Marriage License - will apply next week
6. Ecclesiastical Bans - we already have the letters for our respective pasrishes. pero since 2 months (ata) ang validity, we can't give it yet. sa october 18 (or onwards) pa pwede
7. Permit from Bride's parish - same as ecclesiatical bans
8. Canonical interview - to be scheduled pa
9. Misalette - have it checked na. already have the approved one. for printing na lang... este for xerox pala! :) have already designed the cover din. for printing na rin lang (ito totoong printing).
10. Rehearsal dinner - to be scheduled - tentative date: December 4

RECEPTION VENUE: Balay Kalinaw

50% - paid
Balance - to be paid December 4

To Do's:
1. Talk to manager re their No Candle policy!!!! have already talked to ronald about it and ronald, bernard, and i will go to mrs. de guzman to ask her... beg her... to llow us to have the candle centerpieces. haaaay! - to be done next week
2. Get dimensions of Balay Kalinaw - to be done next week
3. Make sure that there are no hidden charges (as per Joy and Joyce's supplier ratings) - done it na. wala naman. siguro kasi na-explain na sa akin lahat dati.


CATERER - Batis Asul

Balance - to be paid November 18 and December 4

To Do's:
1. Finalize menus! - grabe! ilang beses na akong nag-"finalize" pero hanggang ngayon di pa rin final :( hahaha!
2. Submit final headcount - done! wala na akong balak magdagdag pa ng guests! :)
3. Final meeting - to be scheduled December


EVENT STYLIST - Balay Kalinaw

Balance - to be paid December 4

1. Mock up - done

1. Measurement taking - ilang beses nang na-postpone. kasalanan ko ito eh. to be scheduled ASAP!
2. Fitting - duh! wala pa ngang measurement eh


ENTOURAGE GOWNS - Farley

Payment: nada

To Do's:
1. Measurement taking - done for first batch of entourage last sunday lang; second batch will be scheduled on October 10
2. Fitting - isa pang duh :)


GROOM'S BARONG - Trends Wedding

Balance - to be paid upon claiming

1. Fit barong - to be scheduled ASAP since barong is ready na
2. If fitting is okay, claim


PHOTO VIDEO - Little Dreams by Decisive Moments

2. Give must-have shots - sa pre-prod meeting na. ang prob, i still have no idea what shots i want. hehe!

INVITATIONS - DIY

DONE except for envelopes (still lacking about 40 pieces of envelopes). caligraphy to be done by my sister.


WEDDING CAKE - Claycakes

1. Go to their shop to have a mock-up of bridal bouquet although i have already seen a bouquet they have done and it was really nice - no idea when i can do this

1. Trial makeup - done
2. Talk to Kat re hair - no idea when i can do this
3. Finalize how many people are going to be made up in the hotel the coordinate with Kat


WEDDING RINGS - Golden Garden

DONE! have our rings na! really love it! i was able to get my dream ring - really simple na white gold na band na matte finish. meron na ring engraving. basta i love it! will post a pic of it soon.


BRIDAL CAR - Classic Bridal Benz

50% - paid
Balance - to be paid on December 18

To Do's:
1. Coordinate with Mr. Ching re bridal car bouquet - no idea when i can do this
2. Confirm 3 days before wedding day - syempre to be done December 15
3. Confirm place of pick-up - will do this as soon as we reserve Linden
