ATBP.

hey! welcome back to me! :) hahaha!

whenever i sit down at the computer and i have three minutes of spare time, i browse my friends' and fellow wedding suppliers blog sites. inggit ako kasi they are able to blog. i guess, proper time management is the key. so, since blogging, anyway, keeps me sane, i promise to blog more often (haaay! ilang beses na ito! sana totoo na.)

i have been EXTREMELY busy. not to sound immodest but i've never worked as hard as i worked the last three or four months! exagg! in a way though, it made me realize that i am stronger than i gave myself credit for. i have gone through so many things that there were times that i just wanted to curl up and cry. buti na lang anjan si bernard and my mom. god is really good.

what's with the title? when i started blogging, it was to document our wedding preps. after the wedding, i changed the focus of the blog to my life as a wife. my goal then was to become a full-time homemaker. a couple of months after the wedding, i asked bernard if he was okay with me pursuing coordination. i told him i'd still be primarily a homemaker since i'd probably be handling at most, one wedding in a month. since then, however, my life has changed from becoming a full-time homemaker, part-time wedding planner to full-time wedding planner and part-time homemaker. not that i do not appreciate the direction my life has gone to but for the longest time, i was in denial and thought of myself as still dakilang maybahay. it was only recently that i realized that i seldom get to cook meals for my husband like i did when we were first married. nagising ako at natanggap ko na full-time pala ang trabaho ko! hahaha! i may sound really naive to you but you have to understand, when i started coordination, it was with the goal of doing it for two years tops! as in maximum na yun! after that, it was back to psych. but then, so many things happened and i realized that although i miss therapy and counseling, i love coordination and the gratification being behind the scenes and ensuring that everything goes perfect, gives. if you notice, too, i never wrote about my weddings and my couples and my fellow suppliers before although they were who i dealt with more than half od my waking hours. this was part of my denial.

the past couple of months, though, after the wedding season, i took stock of my life and i realized that even though i have passed the two year mark (An Event to Remember turned two last February 6! am so happy!), i would still want to pursue coordination. buti na lang supportive ang asawa ko at kahit hindi ako sumunod sa usapan ay okay lang sa kanya. because of this and because of the weddings we had last wedding season, i got our team together and made some changes with the way we handle things to further improve the quality of service we render to our couples. sa dami na rin ng nagawa naming weddings, kahit na masayang-masaya pa yung couples, we see those things we know can improve on so we're trying to do exactly that.

so again, what's with the title? if you notice, i also changed the title ogf my blog from "Buhay Misis, atbp." to Buhay Misis, ATBP." i refuse to remove my being a wife in the blog title because being jojie's wife is more important that being a planner but then this blog will also now focus on wedding coordination, thus the emphasis on ATBP.

so there! it's 2:24 in the morning and i still have lots to finish. i'll blog again on or before tuesday, i promise!

:)
